Do i need hosting?
You need web hosting to publish your site online, and mail hosting to send and receive mail -- we supply both as a package via cPanel.
Do i need a domain name?
A domain name is needed to uniquely identify your website -- these range from geographical to specific type of top level domain name.
Do i need website design?
You need a means by which to display your content -- providing you have a domain name and hosting solution -- we can design a custom web site for you, or you could make use of free templates on the internet, and upload them to your web site yourself.

What type of hosting packages do you provide?
We provide a complete range of hosting products - from the typical 'mail and web hosting' with all default cPanel features, to just plain mail-only hosting.
How do i access my cPanel control panel?
This is done by opening your broswer to http://www.example.com/cpanel/
Replace 'example.com' with your full domain name.
How do i access my Webmail?
This is done by opening your browser to http://www.example.com/webmail/
Replace 'example.com' with your full domain name. Your username is your FULL e-mail adress, that is you@example.com, followed by the password for that e-mail address.
How long does it take to register a hosting account?
Via paypal / credit card - a few minutes; via Direct Bank Deposit - up to 48 hours. To reduce the problems with scams, we need to make sure we receive payments before we activate an account. Please note that all transactions are done by industry standard and trusted, external payment gateways.
Can i host friends on my hosting account?
Yes, you can host your friends - you may even allocate them a sub-domain with hosting and mail; however, if they want cPanel access they will need to open a new account with us directly.
Do you allow sites to advertise for money, on their web site?
Yes, we allow sites to have commercial advertisements.
Do you allow adult sites?
Yes, we allow adult sites. They must be legal in the United States of America, and Australia. We recommend reading our Terms of Service, which is located at: http://www.kray.com.au/kray/tos/
Will you place ads on my site?
Kray will NOT place ads on your site. That is one of the many advantages of having a paid host.
We do have a default 404 page that can be replaced in a few seconds with your own that we recommend doing to help maximize your traffic. If you aren't sure how to do this contact us and we will be happy to do it for you. A 404 page is what loads when someone visits a page on your site that doesn't exist.
Can I password protect directories?
Yes, you can password protect directories within cPanel.
How long does it take to register a domain name?

What are the name servers i need for hosting?
From your registrar, point your domain name dns servers to:
ns1.illawarra.org

What are the name servers i need for url or mail forwarding?
Your domain name would need to be moved to us, and the dns servers to:

Which folder do I upload my website pages to?
You would need to use an FTP client - the address to connect to would be ftp.example.com; replace 'example.com' with your full domain name, and use your cpanel username and password; upload all public viewable pages within the 'public_html' folder.
How long does it take for my DNS changes to update?
This usually happens within 24 hours; however it may take up to 72 hours before complete propogation occurrs world wide.
